Optometry software — exams, customers and stock in one system

An optometry practice lives in two worlds at once: a calendar of short exams running all day, and next to it a store — frames, lenses and contact lenses to receive, sell and count. Levion is a general clinic management system that connects both worlds: exam types with a duration and price on the calendar, and full inventory management with a supplier catalogue — without forcing a new workflow on you.

How Levion fits an optometry practice's day

A customer record that adapts to optometry work

Levion has no separate "optometry module" — it has a flexible record you assemble to fit: an intake questionnaire before the first exam, custom fields the practice defines (say, current lens type or fitting notes), notes with staff visibility levels, and categorized files — exam summaries and prescriptions stored in order, in one place. Invoices are issued through the iCount integration, with a payment status per appointment, and every action lands in an append-only audit trail, in line with Israel's Amendment 13.

Customer communication — consent first

Email, SMS and WhatsApp channels are built in and operate on documented customer consent, activated for your practice during onboarding. A reminder before an exam reduces no-shows — a missed short appointment is a hole in the calendar that is hard to fill — and the annual-exam invitation is sent from the record and stays documented in it.

What changes in a practice when exams, customers and stock are managed in one place

  • The stock count finally adds up: every frame received and every lens that leaves is written in the movement ledger, and I can see at any moment what is really on the shelf.

  • Customers get their annual exam reminder in their own language, and they show up on time. They feel this is an organized place — and it brings them back to us, not to the chain across the street.

  • It is simply convenient. The calendar, customer records and invoices in one place — and it took me a day or two to get used to it.

Questions optometrists ask

Is there a lens-prescription module or a connection to measurement devices?

No. Levion has no dedicated lens-prescription module and no integration with measurement devices; the summaries and prescriptions the optometrist writes are stored as files and notes in the customer's record. Levion is a general management system that adapts to the practice through exam types, custom fields and intake questionnaires — and if such a capability is critical for you, tell us: our roadmap is shaped together with pilot clinics.

How do we manage annual recalls for many customers?

With per-customer reminders: each customer gets a recall with priority, assignee and done-status — a yearly exam or a contact-lens follow-up are examples. When the time comes, the reminder surfaces for the team, and the invitation goes out via email, SMS or WhatsApp — only with documented consent.

How does inventory management for frames and lenses work?

The practice defines its own products — frames, lens types and contact lenses — and every movement is written in a ledger: receiving from a supplier, usage or sale, and periodic stock counts. Related products are grouped into kits, and the supplier catalogue keeps next to every product who to order from.

How much does it cost?

₪199/month, or ₪159/month on the annual plan (before VAT) — including up to 3 users, 500GB of storage, 500 WhatsApp and 500 SMS messages per month, every system capability and the patient app. Join by the end of September 2026 and the price is locked for the life of your subscription.
