Why database-level overlap prevention matters
In most scheduling systems, collision checks happen in application code. That works — until it doesn't: two clerks hitting "save" at the same moment, a page refresh mid-action, one small bug — and two patients are booked with the same doctor at the same time. In Levion the constraint lives inside the database: it simply cannot accept two overlapping appointments. Not for a doctor, and not for a patient double-booking themselves.

Levion includes CSV import for appointments and patients with a detailed validation report: you see exactly which rows were accepted, which need fixing and why — before the clinic goes live.

How does the calendar prevent double-booking?
