Ophthalmology clinic software — calendar, recalls and prescriptions in one system

An eye clinic runs fast: short exams turning over every few minutes, annual recalls that must be remembered a year ahead, and older patients who need clear instructions — often in Russian. Levion is a general clinic management system that adapts to ophthalmology work through treatment types, custom fields and intake forms — without forcing a new workflow on you.

How Levion fits an eye clinic's day

A patient record that adapts to ophthalmology work

Levion has no separate "ophthalmology module" — it has a flexible patient record you assemble to fit: a medical-history intake questionnaire, custom fields the clinic defines (glasses prescription values, background conditions or previous surgeries are just examples), notes with staff visibility levels, and categorized patient files with drag-drop upload — exam results, referral letters and signed forms stored in order, in one place. Every action lands in an append-only audit trail, in line with Israel's Amendment 13.

Patient communication — consent first

Email, SMS and WhatsApp channels are built in and operate on documented patient consent, activated for your clinic during onboarding. Digital intake forms go out before the first visit, so the patient arrives with their medical background already in the record.

AI Clinic Assistant for Ophthalmologists: the Whole Patient History in 2 Seconds

1:41 inside the system: ask the AI assistant — and two seconds later the whole patient history is in front of you
Video transcript

Ophthalmologists. Does this situation sound familiar to you? Your next patient is ninety seconds away — and their history is in six different places. Five minutes. Ten. Fifteen — scrolling notes, old files, last year's x-rays — and you still walk in not sure you haven't missed something. Meanwhile, the patients who never came back are quietly leaving treatment on the table. Levion Clinic Plus. One system that knows every patient the way you'd want to. Ask it: give me an overview of this patient's treatment history — and point out anything I should know. Two seconds later: the latest documents, the conditions on file — a hepatitis B carrier flag, right at the top — and every past treatment, lined up against today's visit. Three things change on day one. One — your clinic's own assistant reads the entire case and hands you what matters. Export it... or delete it for good. Nothing lingers. Two — let the system listen during the consultation or the treatment, and it writes the summary for you. No more "what did we agree on?" Three — reminders that follow through. For your team — and for the patient, in their own app. Fifteen minutes of prep becomes two. Five minutes of write-up becomes one. Ten patients a day — that's close to three hours back. Every day. Fourteen hours a week. Sixty a month. Seven hundred hours a year — returned to you. And when patients have questions, your AI digital clinic assistant answers them — in the app, or on WhatsApp — and routes the rest to your team, organized. Levion Clinic Plus launches soon. Leave your clinic's details at levion.tech — and your first thirty days are free. One system. Everything a clinic needs.

What changes in an eye clinic when the calendar, recalls and documents live in one place

  • Every patient's annual recall is logged as a reminder with a date and an assignee. I don't rely on memory — and I don't have to: the system holds the list for me.

  • Older patients get their preparation instructions in the app — in Hebrew or in Russian. They arrive prepared, with a companion when needed, and they feel someone thought of them.

  • It is simply pleasant to work this way. The team adjusted within days, and mornings at the clinic start much calmer.

Questions eye clinics ask

Is there an ophthalmology module or a connection to exam devices (OCT, visual field)?

No. Levion has no ophthalmology module and no connection to exam devices such as OCT or visual field analyzers; it is a general clinic management system that adapts to an eye clinic through treatment types you define, custom fields and intake forms, and exam results are stored as organized files in the record. If such a connection is critical for you — tell us: our roadmap is shaped together with pilot clinics.

How do we manage annual recalls for all our patients?

Set a per-patient reminder with a due date, an assignee and a done-status — "invite for the annual check" is an example of a task the clinic defines. When the date arrives, the team sees the reminder, invites the patient and marks it done — and no recall gets lost between the years.

How does the system help older and Russian-speaking patients?

The clinic's patient app works in Hebrew, English and Russian — the patient sees their appointments and preparation instructions in their own language, for example arriving with a companion after pupil dilation. Email, SMS and WhatsApp messages also go out from the system on documented consent, so even less digital patients get the information clearly.

How much does it cost?

₪199/month, or ₪159/month on the annual plan (before VAT) — including up to 3 users, 500GB of storage, 500 WhatsApp and 500 SMS messages per month, every system capability and the patient app. Join by the end of September 2026 and the price is locked for the life of your subscription.
